A piece of writing that I submitted to Visual Verse's online artist/writers' project has been accepted and published. The piece is in response to recent news of walrus beachings and continued loss of wildlife on the planet.
Visual Verse provide an image by an artist as a prompt for writers.
“And yet not completely: the soft top of the head can still twitch with incoming images, like walrus stampedes on melting ice-floes. It’s better to be the last of your kind, when you rule the world, because your kind is burning it up, even here under the clear blue skies.”
